I recently had a 5/04 lose its program for what I'm atributting to a cheap battery that was installed 6 months ago so installed a EEPROM.

I loaded the program to it and set S:10 to a 1 so it will load the EEPROOM on memory loss

Is there any thing else that I have to do to so it will load on memory loss? Will the key have to be turned on a memory loss or will it auotomaticly load it? We keep all of our keys in remote posistion all the time.

Thank you.

It will load regardless of switch position. Curious as to whether you measured the battery voltage to see if it was truly the cause. I have seen memory loss occur with a good battery.
