I loaded the new RSLinx version 2.54 and selected the new driver AB_UIC-1 and still get the error message DiagnosticStatus failed: 0x4

The Driver usually defaults to Station 00, and the PLC usually defaults to 01. Can you see your SLC PLC in RSLInx in the RSWho for the UIC Driver?

I'm wondering if you should just reset the processor back to "initial factory conditions". Follow the link listed below:

I can't see the SLC PLC in RSLInx in the RSWho for the UIC Driver? I can only see my 00, Workstation, 1747-UIC

I just reset the processor and the SLC (01,SLC-5/3,DEFAULT) just appeared!!

Well, I think that got it, I'm able to communicate and go-online.
Thanks for all you help!!!! I was ready to throw this thing in the trash.
