SLC5/05 Connection Question/Problem

My understanding is Fire up RSLinx first then monitor with wireshark

...Should the 5/05 have sent something out for Wireshark to see before RSLinx talked to it?

Yes. You need to configure Wireshark to make a Gratuitous ARP request. Else it will not read anything from the SLC.

Can you use the NETSH command to set the IP in a 5/05??
