step 7 beginer

im trying to learnn step 7 programing im fairly good at ab programing plcs but dont have mutch experience with siemens

so my question is about IEC timers i think i get how it works exept i cant figure out how to display the et value

what im i supposed to put in there to be able to see the
value i have read manuals and forums but cant seam to find the answer for this

a example of a timer with all the values would be great

iec timer have time value of ms (double integer)

so on siemens iec timer value 10s -> 10000ms on pt and et pins.

i can get the IEC timer to work in plc sim the only thing i cant get is the et value to be disblayed

when i set up a timer i cant figure out what to do to display the actual timer timing (et) im sure im missing something very basic is it a mw or dw or something els, dose it have a address , if so how do i know what thats suposed to be
