I also would NOT like to see this forum separated by manufacturer. I think we would miss too much general information and interesting solutions to problems. The search function here works just fine. I just entered "Simatic" in the 'search this forum' box and got 9 pages with 205 posts. I didn't try the archives. I have used the search function when looking for specific information, it is a very useful tool. I think this forum is great. :site:

But: If a question posted deals with a particular brand or type of equipment, then please leave some relevant search terms, e.g. SIMATIC, AB, ProTool etc.

I also like the site mrplc.com which is segregated by manufacture however it also offers a general question section....This is a well maintained site by chakorules...
