trouble switching jobs in plc; cognex insight 5.3

hello all
using rs logix 5000 and an ab 1769 series plc controller i am controlling a camera via ethernet/ip

i am unsure how to switch between jobs/define jobs in the camera using insight 5.3...i am pretty sure it has to do with chaning the current id status,
but when i do via the plcs this it oscillates between -1 and the number i try to change it to

the camera is a cognex 8000 series

please help if you can with thread links or experience/knowledge!

One source of information is the InSight Explorer help. In this case, look up Communications Reference -> Native Mode Communications -> Basic Native Mode Commands -> Load File.

Documentation indicates this command is available through Ethernet/IP using Explicit Messaging. There are examples of this How to...Communicate with a PLC, Rockwell SLC 5/05 PLC.

I have never specifically done this (job change on-the-fly), and maybe there is an easier way.
