Urgent help with weintek MT8121EX needed

Thanks David, (wow, it took me that long to no notice your name at the bottom lol)
When I wrote that I didn't know how a PLC control object is configured and I was wrong. The fact is VNC connection was not configured for back light control. The only two control objects that were configured are change window and sound control.

So I don't know why I never saw that black screen before I made those changes and how they managed to turn on back light without configuring VNC connection. I will most likely plug into it tomorrow and try what was so far suggested in this thread.

You said MT8121EX. Is it MT8121XE from KEP? If so, Brian Walter, brian at kep.com is great at helping out.
They must be using built-in screen saver, with no user access.

Thanks Keith, yes it's an MT8121EX and it was installed years ago. before my time, with the original equipment.
I'll have a look at the demo.
