"User-specified number of input signal pulses" from 1771-VHSC

From the manual:

" Use the period/rate mode to determine the frequency of input pulses by counting the number of internal 4MHz clock pulses over a user-specified number of input signal pulses"

Where do I set this "user-specified.." in the BTW assignment?? see attached manual.

Poring over 1756-HSC document, it seems to indicate that scalar value is where you set it.
