Fatek analog input help

I'm saddled with a Fatek FBs-40MC with 2 FBs-6AD modules. If I understand the manual correctly the readings should automatically transfer to R3840 onwards. However, injecting a signal into Ch0 (R3840) the value is static. Is there some extra tricks I've missed? I have tried changing the jumper settings but that only alters the off-set (0 or 8192), nothing else.

OK, sorted it. The silly thing needs to be powered externally.

Hey I am facing the same problem...I connected Fbs 6AD with my Plc and gave it 24V dc from the 24V output of the PLC...but i am getting the value 8191 from CH 0(R3840) and it is not changing...please help mee

I have given the FBs 6AD module and the sensor power externally ie 24V....but its still showing 8191 in the register R3840(CH 0)
