Hello all,
I have an Allen Bradley DH485 network that currently has three devices.
Micrologix 1500 LSP series C w/1764-24awa base node 1d (main)
Micrologix 1500 LSP series C w/1764-24awa base node 1d (CIP)
PV1000 2711-T10C3 node 3 (max allowed 6)
1761-net-aic
Network has always worked fine but very slow update.
I’m trying to install a Redlion Data station plus on the network.
Model DSPGT node 6 Plugged into DB9 port on Net-AIC.
When I install the data station on the network it comms and records data. It also gives me a 615 fault on the pv1000. The user manual states that this means there is a duplicate node on the network. In the Panel Builder program for the 1000 its only pointing to one node main_panel node 1. The touch screen controls functions in both of the PLC's.
In both comm setups in the 1500's the message instructions both point to node 2.
In Crimson 3 the DSPGT Its programmed to comm. with node 1 and be node 6. It generates initial token. Baud is the same as 485 networks.
So is it possible the network is setup wrong with existing duplicate nodes and working? If so should the node address be changed to 1d and 2d and change message set up?
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
Matthew
