1747 UIC problems

Well I finally realized that I had a Belkin USB to serial converter that I use to hook up to Micrologix, so I took it over and hooked up almost instantly. I auto configured a Rs232 DF1 and was able to see my 5/03 but no sign of the Panelview.

Sense your PV supports DH485 protocol you can use your 1747-UIC to connect to it, you will need a 1747-C13 cable. Or you can use a memory card to program the PV.

I ve a PPV550 B5A2 only 485 com and 485 program connector,
I connect it to the slc 500 /3 with the com cable , the program cable is not connected ,
can I downlod or upload the panel using rslinx and panel builder with this configurations ,
