I working with a A-B 1769-OF2 (2 channal analog Output module). I have replaced the OP213 optocoupler on the board and gotten the P/S +/- 15 VDCs to balance. Yet, my module in a Micrologix 1500 won't even give me a module "OK" light. I have good comm and can manually configure for the module, yet when doing a Read I/O the module isn't recognized and if I load a blank program my 1500 will fault going into Run b/c the OF2 module isn't recognized.
I'm wondering if I'm stumbling over some obvious (tho, not to me) config setting.
Anyone have any ideas?
Many thanks.

Here is a check list...

End cap installed?

1. Disconnect power.
2. Check that the bus lever of the module to be installed is in the unlocked
(fully right) position.
3. Use the upper and lower tongue-and-groove slots (1) to secure the
modules together (or to a controller).
4. Move the module back along the tongue-and-groove slots until the bus
connectors (2) line up with each other.
5. Push the bus lever back slightly to clear the positioning tab (3). Use your
fingers or a small screwdriver.
6. To allow communication between the controller and module, move the
bus lever fully to the left (4) until it clicks. Ensure it is locked firmly in
place.
7. Attach an end cap terminator (5) to the last module in the system by
using the tongue-and-groove slots as before.
8. Lock the end cap bus terminator (6).
!
ATTENTION
When attaching I/O modules, it is very important that the
bus connectors are securely locked together to ensure
proper electrical connection.
IMPORTANT A 1769-ECR or 1769-ECL right or left end cap must be
used to terminate the end of the serial communication
bus.

Edit: nhatsen types faster then I do.

Thanks so much for the hints.

Yes, I am trying to repair the module.
I have tried the Switch in "BUS" and "EXT'ernal". Neither is effective at the moment. Module is outputing +25.53VDC.
I have slid the bus lever to it's fully engaged (locked) position.
I have an end cap installed.
Previous to replacing the OP213, the DC/DC converter was imbalanced at +20/-10VDC. No the +/- 15 VDC are balanced within .5 VDC.
The +5=+5.05VDC w/o load.
Oy! Still no module "OK".
