Setting up 1769-IF4XOF2 Version 30

I have Studio 5000 v30 and trying to set up an analog input. I noticed through another thread there are extra steps. I looked up the manual and I need to enable control bits 0-3 to a value of 1. I did that, downloaded, cycled power. Still not a good signal. What did I miss?

It looks like bits 4 to 8 enable the inputs. See page 53 of https://literature.rockwellautomation.com/idc/groups/literature/documents/um/1769-um008_-en-p.pdf
