I'm upgrading my projects to utilize the autoscan feature in the 1756-DNB (firmware 5.0+). It works great - no more hassle of using RSNetworx to build scanlists. Is there a way to 'drop' a device from the scanlist if the node (encoder) is removed? When I test this, the node that was automatically added to the scanlist showed up, but when it was removed, the corresponding bit in the DeviceFailureRegister register goes high. Is there a way to bypass this, and just have the scanner re-read the scanlist. (Either automatically, or via HMI)?
