after 3 months and no work, I finally got one and have been thown to the woves. so to speak. I am looking for a handheld barcode scanner that will talk modbus TCP/IP. i need to connect this to an existing ge 90/30 system that has a, it think, 374 cpu. no chance of changing the cpu so that question is out. thoought i was going to use the cmm311 with the scanner i already have over rs-232, but that wont fly either. the cm311 wont do serial. so per my local ge rep. he suggested to try eithent sense i already have the processor. anybody been down this road berfore? or am i going to be the first again.
