messaging to the eni using the same way as to the slc did not work, responds with illegal command from local processor.

That is useful info and i will prob use it. but right now i am trying to msg from the controllogix to the micrologix via the eni.

What type of message are you using?

What slot is the Controllogix processor in?

The processor is in slot 0. i have tried the cip data table read and the plc 5 typed read. the enbt is in slot 1. I have the ip address of the enbt in node 45/145 of the eni. Im using the eni's ip in the msg path.
