Hello all,

I know I have asked questions on this before, but does anyone have insight as to why discrete I/O would work on some screens but not on others post conversion from PLC-5 to Control Logix? My panel I/O is set up through a buffer routine, but when I go to impute numeric values into registers I get a Mistake Pop up saying "PLC did not acknowledge Enter Bit.", as well if I go to the integer register for the same numeric value in the PLC and change in there it does register on the screen. Could I have missed a I/O mask on this?

Best regards,

Frederick

Do the Control logix tags have read/write access or just read? In 5000 choose one of the tags and go to edit, down at the bottom, you will see type, scoep, and access, make sure read/write is selected. This has bitten me once upon a time.

I do have the integer array set to read/write, thank you though I would not have thought of that being the issue.
