Hi,
I have a question regarding the DI module 6DL1131-6BL00-0pH1. This is a 32 channel module and it says that it can only handle 2 wire devices with either a potential distributor or an external power supply. My first question is what is the potential distributor is it a bulky module? Also there is a drawing on page 14 of the manual that shows sensor connection with an external power supply and says 2 wire but this has 3 wires L+,M and Di.n+. Has any one used this card before as the same drawing appears on the 6DL1131-6bh00-0ph1 as a 3 wire connection ? Is there a huge difference between these two cards in terms of operating principles?

Thank you
