Hi,
we are using Siemens S700 PLCs with add-on modules
and use the TP170B screen (and the replacement TP177B).
A service engineer with thick fingers have managed to
enter an unknown password for the control panel on a
couple of screens. We have not been able to figure out
what was entered.
Does anyone know how to unlock the password
so it can be re-entered correctly?
Lars

i think there is no method to know the password.you can only view the password you have logged with by using "get password " function if you have already used it in your project
you do not need to reset the your OP but simply download the project again, but before that ,make sure to keep the administrator password(highest level) for your use and create as many lower level passwords levels as necessary after that.
this would help you in the present situation to login with your administrator password and change the password of all other users.
