TIA v14 device change question

Had a project a few years back done in v14 of TIA.

Very similar job has come up for the same company with different PLC and HMI hardware.

I attached some screenshots of what I'm dealing with...

First is the plc type, Cut sheet says i can use a different model number in older versions of TIA, seems weird...

Second, when i select the PLC and attempt to change device, I'm not given the option to select what i need. (highlighted on the right in device library)

I don't have much experience with Siemens (typically AB and Mitsubishi)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

In the image PLCchangedevice.png it shows your current CPU is in the ET200SP family and the one you want is in the S7-1500, AKA the ET200MP family. It does not surprise me that you cannot 'change device' because they are in different product families.

You may need to record all of the CPU parameters on paper and delete the old before inserting the new.
