hi. i'm playing around with the logixpro 500 simulator to familiarize myself with plc programming.
i'm wondering if someone can tell me the difference between an "output energize" command, and the "latch" command.
what command does one use to "de-energize" an output if you do use the output energize to turn it on? i've figured out the latch/unlatch stuff...
thanks.

As long as the rung/input conditions/power flow is true=ouput energized.
As soon as the rung/input conditions/power flow is false = Ouput is de-energized, you don't need to do anything special like an unlatch.
