Hi guys, I have just recently purchased a 1734-AENTR module so that I could learn how to configure it through LogixDesigner and establish comms etc.

I am getting a flashing red light for ‘Point Bus Status’ and a module fault code of “16#0010” I have ensured that the chassis size is set to ‘1’ as I do not have any expansion cards yet, I have also power cycled multiple times but still nothing has worked.

I have also tried using the web interface but it doesnÂ’t seem to display the chassis size on there for me to confirm. I can ping the module from my laptop though.

I am starting to think that maybe you need at least one card added to the module in order for the Point Bus Status to come good. Can anyone clarify this

On Rockwell's site for setting via web browser it says to click on Configuration-> Identity (In the left pane)
Then enter user name and password. (Should be default password if your device is new)
Then in the chassis size box enter the desired size chassis.
Click apply changes and then power cycle the adapter.

I have not configured one of these myself yet, so cannot say if any modules need to be present to so. But I have not come across anything in the knowledge base (yet) saying that either.

Hopefully the above will get you there.
