Import TAGS_ iFIX

Hello everyone,
Is there any solution to import tags which is in a format
eg:- TI.2001, TAH.2001 etc
while importing this to iFIX 5.8 it is showing like "illegal tag specified"
since iFIX 5.8 dont allow to access dot(.) format.. i think it access only (_) type.. ie
tags like TI_2001, TAH_2001
or any other way to solve?
is there any solution to access TI.2001 type tags? if yes..please do help... it critical...
