Locating FNG Devices

All,

Currently i am working on FGS system. where i am developing logics for Beacons, horns, Fire bell and souders based on Cause and effects.

I do have question in mind, how the customer decides Where to Locate the Beacon,Horns, Fire bells and Sounders.

is there any specific standard for locating these devices ??? TUV Or ISA ???
