Need help on Citect

Andrew i can ping the micrologix quite easily and as suggested i did put all the things mentioned in ur email . When system goes into the runtime i always get a hardware alarm " PLC server I/O device offline" ??????
 
Have you tried shutting down RSLinx?
Worked for me.
(Using same serial cable for the communication with RSLogix and CitectScada7.2)
