OT: My home WI-FI router sucks

I have an airport express for commissioning. It sits in the bottom of my tool bag and doesn't have any bits to get lost, broken or tangled. It is so scratched and dirty that Jobs would cry to see it.

At home I have a Netgear that is fantastic for speed (30mB/s anywhere inside and out)

At work I have Ubiquity. They are not the fastest but they can handle crazy loading and have fantastic management options. And strangely enough they are probably the lowest cost too.

Here is what I bought:

I have the Nighthawk for a couple years and love it, I did have one port go bad, I use more land than I use wireless but I bought another and its been running great since

I hate the small issues in life that consume way too much time

I don't mind issues too much (they keep me employed), but I hate it when the same problem happens over and over and it is something I can't control or fix. I have come to learn over the years that anything mass produced is likely to have some problems. I have been in manufacturing for 22 years and looking around at my co-workers (poorly educated, poorly trained) that the product I am buy is made by a manufacturer with the same type of employees.
