can we run a Siemens 1PL6 motor direct on line ? by connecting its three power terminals directly to 3x380 vac 50 hz ?

just for testing. i can put a softstarter. but the issue is that this is a special siemens motor... so it might require a drive?

I would not start this motor across the line. Use a drive.

I'm sure I have seen this in the manuals but I can not find
at the moment
For just a test an G120 should be fine. For a real application I would use S120
